INSURANCE PROCESS

In the event that your roof experiences some sort of damage, whether it’s from a hail or wind storm, you should fix the damages as soon as possible. Many times your insurance company will require you to notify them immediately after a storm to document damage incurred.  A damaged section of roof can lead to flooding, pests, and wasted energy. Even if you do not see visible damage, but your roof has outlived its warranty, you should get an inspection of your roof.  Fortunately, if you have homeowners insurance, the burden of paying for roof repairs or replacement usually does not fall completely on your shoulders. Einstein Roofing & Restoration  is able to help you navigate your way through the roof insurance claims process.

Your policy may outline age requirements for roof replacement or repair. For example, if your roof is more than 10 years old, you may only be granted reimbursement for the depreciated value of your roof instead of the original value. Basically, the more severe the leaking and evident damage that is present, the better your case for the necessity of a repair or replacement.

In most cases, you are allowed to use the roofing company of your choice. No matter the climate you live in, residential roofs will naturally deteriorate over time. In addition, extreme weather and accidents, can play a part in its life expectancy. Reading the fine print of your insurance policy when the roof is in good condition will help you file a claim more smoothly when the time comes that your roof needs to be repaired or replaced.   Einstein Roofing & Restoration  has extensive experience in providing roof estimates for insurance claims and helping our clients navigate the process of getting their roof repair or replacement covered by their insurance company.
